Description
Biocide
Microbiological growth is undesirable because it interferes with cooling and with the influx of oxygen in circulating water, causing fouling and corrosion in the system. Newtech-1015 Biocide is lethal to a vast array of organisms including bacteria, fungi and algae growing in the cooling system.

Features and advantages
Specially formulated to prevent undesired microorganisms, effective even at low concentration and compatible with other Newtech series chemicals. Effectively controls algae, bacteria and slime-forming organisms. It works across a wide range of pH and remains effective at higher temperatures. Non-corrosive, and does not affect any part of the equipment. It also controls the growth of sulphur-reducing bacteria (Desulphovibrio desulphuricans and NRB), which grow in the absence of oxygen where water is stagnant.
