Antiscalant
Newtech-1031 Antiscalant is a blend of organophosphonate, polyphosphate, maleic and acrylic terpolymer, hence it prevents the precipitation of scale-forming salts and heavy metals. Newtech-1031 is designed to increase the solubility of scale-forming ions such as Calcium carbonate, Calcium phosphate, Calcium fluoride, Silica, heavy metals, Magnesium sulphate and other Magnesium ions, so that the heart of your RO system — the membranes — stays free of scale and is able to work for a longer life at reduced operating cost.

Features and advantages
Newtech-1031 Antiscalant contains acrylic polymer and maleic polymer, which help keep scale-forming particles in soluble form so they are easily removed with the reject water. It is applicable for raw water TDS up to 2000 ppm, hardness up to 500 ppm and alkalinity up to 750 ppm. It contains a silica sequestrant and so inhibits silica up to 250 ppm. Newtech-1031 E is a fully food-grade chemical and is therefore suitable for drinking water.
