Alkalinity Reducer
Newtech-1012 Alkalinity Reducer is a blend of suitable organic and inorganic acids which maintains alkalinity and pH level so that your cooling tower pH is held between 7.0 and 9.0. It prevents the formation of scale-forming salts and increases the solubility of hardness-forming ions such as Calcium carbonate, Calcium phosphate, Calcium fluoride, Silica, Magnesium sulphate and other Magnesium ions, so that at the time of drain these scale-forming ions are easily removed from your system.

Features and advantages
Newtech-1012 combines various acids with a corrosion inhibitor, which helps keep scale-forming particles in soluble form. It is acidic in nature and so avoids the use of various hazardous acids. It has a completely biodegradable formulation and can therefore be discharged into water bodies after proper treatment.
